Coach Graziosi and his assistant Carmelino were extremely satisfied with the team work seen in the victory in Corigliano, which tied the series at 1-1.

Coach Graziosi: “I told the boys that if we wanted to aim high, we had to get a good result in Corigliano and win on a tough court with quality team work. The boys really wanted it. We did well in just about every area of the game”.

Assistant coach Leonel Carmelino: “A team win. We managed to do the things we had failed to bring on court on the first of May in Potenza. I have seen more determination on the serve and in the second line. The 9 aces were important, just like the fighting spirit shown on every rally”.

Outside hitter Federico Moretti (top scorer of the game): “Today our opponents did not serve that well, while we had 9 aces. Each game has a different story, today we read the game better because we had nothing to lose. This will be a tight final. Potenza and Corigliano are two outsiders. They had a similar run than us this season and I think even the one who will be on the losing end will have to celebrate an excellent season because both clubs have disposed of excellent teams before meeting in the final”.
