On Radio Milan Inter, the libero Rizzo analysed the tie-break defeat against Padova but also looked to the future with confidence.
“That was an intense game which lasted over two hours – he said – We knew how important the game was and our goal was to take three points. The fourth set was key, it was tight, Padova never gave up while we wasted three match points. We have no excuses, this was against a direct rival and we had a poor game. Results have not come this year but I am sure there can be some excellent volleyball here, this club has a project and I am sure they will do a great job”.
