One quality set not enough

A top quality first set played with maximum focus and excellent volleyball was not enough for Brescia, who was eventually defeated 3-1 by Potenza, just like the first meeting between the two teams. In spite of having outside hitter Moretti ruled out just a few minutes before the game, Potenza bounced back from that first set loss to dominate the second and third. One might have expected a reaction of pride from Brescia in the fourth set but it never came.
