Vibo Valentia’s GM Michele Ferraro was interviewed in the daily paper “Il Quotidiano del Sud” (the Daily of the South). When asked about the cup triumph the man who’s been in volleyball for 37 years said “the toughest things are always the most beautiful”. And that was a nice revenge on the critics made by many. In spite of this triumph, Ferraro, who convinced Pippo Callipo to become president of the club in 1993, still thinks “it will be a very difficult end of season and playoffs”. And he sends a clear message saying “now we know for sure that we are not the team to beat” but still expects his players to “play with maximum focus because when the big games comes we can have an edge on the others”.
