Key clash with Cantù for the playoffs

There are just five battles left in the regular season: Cantù, Matera, Castellana Grotte, Potenza Picena and Sora. For now Reggio stands in the playoffs zone but it won’t be easy to stay there. The first game is against Cantù, a team that managed to reach the playoffs final last season, eventually lost against Monza. Their main man is the experienced setter Umberto Gerosa, while one of the very few changes made last summer concerned the outside hitter: they brought in Vincenzo Tamburo, who won the Serie A2 three years ago with Perugia. And then, there is the former Reggio favourite, Andrea Ippolito, who will surely receive a special ovation.
