Itas Diatec Trentino got its first success by beating Japan Tobacco 3-1. A useful test for Radamès Lattari most of all to check the preparation.
Meoni and teammates show a good game leaving not a lot of space to the Japanese team. In the third set Trento was a little tired so Japan Toaco was able to win it but in the fourth set Trento close the match in front of 400 people.
To point out the way that attack and block worked and individually good match for Smilen Mlyakov and Antonio De Paola. The bulgarian opposite scored 28 points including 6 blocks.
In the first set Japan Tobacco had a bad start and Itas Diatec flew to 12-6 also thanks to Uchitoni mistakes. Good start for Trentino for De Paola (6 point and one ace in the first set) and for Leonardi.
Second set started in the same way of the first with Itas Diatec ahead 8-4. The set will end with 7 blocks for Itas Diatec.
In the third set Mescoli replaced Meoni. For Japan Tobaco Hirano replace Uchitomi. Japan Tobaco plays better with the new opposite. Challange in the challange with Itas Diatec Bulgarian opposite that in the third set scored 11 pooints. So the set is very tight and the score reaches 26-26. At the end is the Japanese team able to close it 30-28 in its favour
In the 4th set Norberto Gottardi replaced Cosimo Gallotta. The set is tough and the scores reaches 15-15. Itas Diatec Trentino is playing with 3 Under 18 players. After the second time out Trento flies to 19-16 and keep it until the end of the set giving the first victory to the large number of supporters arrived to watch the game.
On Saturday the 26th of August Trento will have a joined trainning wtih Cimone Modena at 5.00PM
