The PalaFontescodella has seen its last volleyball game, and a good one it was with the victory over Latina in the Italian Cup quarter-final. The arena hosted 25 years of the club’s history, starting from 1990 when the club was founded. It experienced the fast run through the lower divisions right up to the top division, where it played in the past 20 years.
“I just wanted to thank the people that have supported us in the past 25 years in the Fontescodella arena – said President Simona Sileoni – Big thank you to the coaches, players, supporters, organizers, sponsors, all the people that walked with us and contributed to our cause. We will not forget all the challenges, the emotions. They will be like a tattoo on the skin which you can always look at with a smile. And we have gathered a lot of experience along the way to keep winning in the future. We hope everyone will continue to share our adventure with us in our new home in Civitanova Marche, on route to many more victories”.
