Corigliano’s Australian spiker Samuel Walker was selected by his national team to take part in the World Championships, to take place in Poland from August 30. Born in 1995, the young athlete has already gathered experience at International level in recent years, which will come handy once he wears the Corigliano shirt. In the World Championships, Australia was drawn in the group with Poland, Serbia, Cameroun, Venezuela and Argentina. The top four will qualify to the next phase made of two groups of six teams.
