For the third consecutive season, coach Nunzio Lanci will count on Emanuele Sborgia, Michele Simoni and Matteo Guidone to run the show in the middle. Born in 1981, Sborgia played from 2005 to 2011 in Pineto. Then he moved to Chieti for one season before continuing his career at Ortona.
“I am extremely motivated – said Sborgia – We have everything needed to do well here but we’ll have to show our worth on court. Hard work and consistency is what makes the difference”.
“I am glad to keep playing with my two other teammates in the middle – said Guidone – I work well with them. The newcomers are top quality players too and I’m sure the club will make some good additions, I can only be happy”.
