Matera is not done yet. As it aims to give coach Mastrangelo a solid all-around roster composed of experienced and young players, the club brought in two more middle blockers: Matteo Zamagni and Nicola Sesto.
Born in 1989, 195cm tall, Zamagni made his debut in the A2 with Ravenna in 2010-11, helping the team to promotion in the top division. A feat he repeated as he moved to Perugia, while he was last season at Potenza Picena playing alongside another Matera newcomer, Riccardo Pinelli. As for Nicola Sesto, he is from Lamezia Terme, he is 27 years old, he’s 198cm tall and played last with Brolo.
