Luca Beccaro is back after seven years out. Born in Camposampiero in January 1988, he came up in Padova’s youth ranks, club with which he took part in the Serie C division in 2007-08. But then he went on a tour of Italy gathering experience at Bibione, Isernia, Napoli, Sant’Antioco and Sora. The setter will be Orduna’s back up.
“In all these years away I have lived various experiences, on and off the court – said Beccaro – I have great memories from my second year in Isernia. Everybody thought we were doomed but instead we had a great season. But now I am very happy to make my debut in the top division and with the shirt of home town. It’s great to be back home after so much time away. I’ll be able to train alongside various stars and enjoy top level games against the best teams of the country”.
