Latina has its new libero: Loris Manià. The 35-year-old is coming from Modena, where he spent the last five years of his career. Even if he started off as a spiker, he has quickly become one of the best liberos in the country, gathering 56 caps with the Italian national team. He took part in the World League 2008, 2009, 2010 as well as in the qualification for Beijing’s Olympic Games.

“I am excited to begin this new experience and to take on a new challenge after five years spent in Modena – said Manià – As soon as Blengini called me, I accepted and I hope to come soon to Latina to visit the city. As far as the market is concerned, the club is doing a great job, we have good names, it should be a good season. I have already played with Rauwerdink two years at Montichiari. Latina has been in the A1 for years but we have to put last season behind us”.
