Jeroen Rauwerdink is back in Latina after a season spent in Cuneo. The 29-year-old Netherlander won the Team Cup in 2003 (second European cup then), while he collected three league titles, two cups and one super cup back home with Apeldoorn. He landed in Italy in 2008 with the Acqua Paradiso coached by Berruto, where he stayed for three years. He then moved to San Giustino in 2011 before signing for Latina.

“I am extremely happy to come back because I had an unbelievable year in Latina – said Rauwerdink – That was a season I played really well and deserved a call from Cuneo. But last season is one to forget, things did not go as I wanted. But as soon as it was over the Latina managerial staff showed once again the faith they had in me and I accepted without thinking much about it”.
