After the renewals of Forni, Gavotto, and the addition of Sintini, the club made another quality signing with Andrea Cesarini. Born in Rome in 1987, the libero made his A2 debut in 2007 with Loreto, which he helped to promotion in 2009. Then, he went back home to play for Roma Volley, earning another promotion as well as winning the Italian Cup A2. After a season in the elite, he went back in the A2 with Perugia, to make it three promotions. In 2012-13, he was a starter in the A1 with San Giustino, showing off his skills in reception and dig at the highest level. Last year, he had an excellent influence in Molfetta’s good season as a rookie in the A1.
“I am extremely happy to have this opportunity to play for Vibo Valentia – said Andrea Cesarini – This is a well-known and extremely appreciated club all over Italy. We have immediately found a mutual agreement with sport director Prestinenzi and now I can’t wait to start playing with my new teammates”.
