Corigliano began its summer buys with a bang, and a Brazilian named Airton Banderò. The outside hitter played the past two seasons in the Swiss top division. He previously had an experience in Italy with Vibo Valentia in 2011-12. At 20 years old, he had made his debut in the Brazilian league with Santander before moving to Voley Futuro and launching his European career.
