The camp, in which Verona middle blocker Simone Anzani took place with the second group of the Italian national team guided by coach Giani, ended today. On Sunday, Anzani will be at the PalaOlimpia to support Italy’s starting group playing against Iran.
“Even if I won’t be among the players on court, it’s great to have been selected in the Italian squad – said Anzani – I would never have expected it at the start of the season. I did not even know If I could handle it in the A1”.
