Verona’s two Australians, middle blocker Aidan Zingel and spiker Adam White, left Italy this morning and headed to Belgium where they will make their World League debut this weekend in Kortrijk. Australia had trained in Italy thus far, playing some friendly games against Japan.
“These friendly games against Japan have been very useful – said Zingel – Especially for the young players of the team, while the more experienced could recharge their batteries before the official games”.
