The team coached by Grbic signed spiker Gabriele Maruotti. The 26-year-old, who came up in Treviso’s youth ranks, played last season at Cuneo. He is currently in the Italian national team competing in the World League.
“I had the chance to work with him for two months last year in Cuneo and I could see with my own eyes how he trains, how hard he works and how good a player he is – said coach Grbic – I have personally talked to him, he seems to be excited to come here. I am thrilled the club could find an agreement to bring him here”.
