Ten years gone since the promotion 2004

Ten years have past since the historical promotion into the A1. It was May 13, 2004 when the club of President Pippo Callipo made its way into the elite of Italian volleyball by winning a thrilling playoff encounter against Bolzano. Thanks to the group of supporters Volley Club “Giacinto Callipo”, there was the celebration of the ten-year anniversary. President Callipo was obviously there, as well as Antonello Gagliardi, who was the vice-president then. The evening could count with the presence of two stars of that team: Michele De Giorgi and Giacomo Tomasello.
