Stefano Giannotti will once again be the outside hitter for the 2014-15 season. Important signing for Padova as Giannotti really burst onto the scene this season. Born in 1989 in Padova, the local boy scored 348 points in 20 games in his first season as a starter.
“This is a great satisfaction, knowing I’ll play in the A1 because we won promotion ourselves is very special – explained Giannotti – We had a very young team and in a way nobody really expected that much from us. We trained with great intensity and consistency and that’s credit to our coaches. I felt confidence and faith in me, which allowed me to play without any pressure”.
