Over six hundred fans packed the gym to celebrate Padova’s promotion into the elite of Italian volleyball. Today, the town mayor Ivo Rossi welcomed the team: “It’s becoming kind of a habit – joked around the mayor as Padova had already come to the town hall following the cup triumph earlier this year – And I hope to see you again here many other times in the future. This team showed how important it can be to work as a team. This must be an example not only for the other sport clubs of the area but also for the politicians. You can only get results by working together towards a common target”.
