BluVolley Verona announced the signing of spiker Nikola Kovacevic. The Serbian will be officially introduced to the press tomorrow at 2.30pm at the PalaOlimpia arena. This is his fourth time in Italy, he played for two years with Perugia from 2007 to 2009, then one season with Latina in 2010-11. Born in Kraljevo on February 14, 1983, he played this season in Russia with Ural Ufa and has played in various other leagues like to the Polish and Greek. He can also boast 116 appearances with the national team: he won the bronze medal at the World Championships 2010 (won against Italy), a gold medal ( 2011) and 2 bronze in the European Championships as well as 1 silver and 2 bronze medals in the World League.
