For the second year running, Potenza received a prize from the cultural association Pindaro Events. The “Artist of Fire” award was handed to Riccardo Tobaldi, captain and soul of Potenza Picena, for the achievements of the volleyball team. This special acknowledgement was thought out to reward the best sport team of the area.
“Our goal was to stay up and maybe make it into the playoffs – said Tobaldi – We’ve had a tough time of late but overall we are satisfied with what we have done so far. And with a win in Ortona, we could move up to 8th in the table”.
