Verona won the friendly against VFB Friedrichshafen 3-1. Coach Giani had the chance to try out some game situations to prepare for Sunday’s league match. The hosts were not sharp in attack in the first set and did not make the most of the good work done at the net. White led the way in the second as the team found its fighting spirit. Verona took the next set too, which was marred by many serving mistakes. The game ended on a very tight fourth set as both teams refused to give up.
