Valuable test before meeting Cantù

Before meeting Cantù in the sixth round of the A2, Ortona played a valuable friendly game in Molfetta, a team that is not doing bad at all in the division above. Ortona got off to an excellent start to take the first set but the hosts tied it and kept the momentum going in the third. Molfetta rushed off the starting blocks in the fourth (9-1) and kept their advantage throughout to clinch the game 3-1. The two teams decided to play a fifth set, which turned out to be much tighter as well as never-ending as Molfetta took it by the minimum margin.
