Potenza Picena played a friendly against Macerata this afternoon. The Serie A1 league leaders won all the four sets played but they dominated clearly only in the second. Indeed, it was tight for long spells of the various sets as Potenza was close to clinch both the first and third set. Zampetti shined in attack for Potenza.
“The boys still have margin for improvement – said coach Gianluca Graziosi – We have to improve on certain aspects like the dig, mainly to be able to contain top level teams. We can do better as well from the nine meters even if we have already shown some effective plays. The attitude was good, playing such an intense friendly was the best way to prepare for Sunday’s home game against Padova”.
