Surprisingly lined up as outside hitter against Matera, Luca Sirri did not disappoint and was even named MVP of the game.
“The coach had asked me to work on this situation during the week, I have to thank my teammates who put me in the best conditions to do it – explains Sirri after Milan’s first victory of the season – I had been an outside hitter in Ravenna’s youth ranks. One summer, while we were talking with the former president, we had agreed I would be moved to spiker in order to try to make it in the Serie A given my height and physical characteristics”.
