In its last pre-season friendly before the league begins, Milan had a positive performance, beating the B1 side of Bergamo 3-1. Coach Maranesi had asked his players to fight hard and that’s exactly what they did. The difference between the two teams was mostly evident in attack. Outside hitter Filipe Pinto had another top quality performance finishing top scorer with 20 points. The young Portuguese showed off all his power and had no mercy on the serve (6 aces).
