In the game for third place of the Nonno Gino memorial on the best of three sets, Avellino had the better of Sora to take third place. Sora played some exciting volleyball and won the first set, it gave it a good fight in the second but eventually surrendered to Bencz and co. The positive note of the day was the come-back of libero Marco Lo Bianco.
