“Focused” was the word used by scout Ciamarra to describe the solid performance of the boys in the 3-0 win over Sora to qualify for the Nonno Gino memorial final. Except for a short spell halfway through the first set, Van Walle and co have always had the game in hand.. The Belgium outside hitter shined with 17 points, Fromm (11 points) and Piano (5 blocks) had an excellent game too. The official team presentation had taken place the day before. The numerous important people that were present all praised the initiative to build this top level club in a region with a great volleyball tradition.
