Following the announcement of his move to Kazan, Serbian setter Grbic wanted to write a letter to the “volleyball friends”, who have been close to him in the 19 years of career spent in Italy.
“I had not realised what this move meant…until a few hours ago. Everything went so fast, basically in two days. Now I realize I will never play in the Italian league again. I won a lot of trophies but the greatest thing of all is that I shared this joy with so many players of many teams, this creates a bond that goes way beyond the professional relationship. I have made friends coming from all over the world and this is something just beautiful”.
