After years spent around the country at Gioia, Taranto, Spoleto, Castellana, Bari, chieti, Pineto and Ortona, setter Uccio Lapacciana tells us about this new challenge ahead of him:
“I am thrilled to be able to play for the team of my home town after almost 20 years round Italy – he said – I could see the city getting better in recent years but a series of circumstances prevented me from joining Matera. We seem to have a well-built squad, a nice mix between experience and young players, between physical strength and technique, which are all important things to face such a tough league”.
