Little by little, the Ravenna jigsaw is being completed with the missing pieces. Niels Klapwijk and Jani Jeliazkov will be the last ones to come. The first is about to play in the World Championships qualification with the Netherlands, while the second will take part in the World Championships U23 with Bulgaria. On the other hand the club welcomed Klemen Cebulj, Kevin Tillie and Benjamin Toniutti.

“I come from a small town but I already knew that Ravenna was a beautiful place where people love volleyball” said Cebulj.

“I have two brothers who play basketball – explained the North American Tillie who followed the footsteps of his parents, two volleyball stars – I am the only one who chose volleyball. I will do my best to get better and help Ravenna as much as I can”.

Toniutti was the last one to take over the mike: “I have been compared to various setters but I did not get my inspiration from only one player – said the captain of the French national team and now the Ravenna captain too – On court I always want to win, to me the result is always more important than the rest. But if we can win and I have a good performance too, then all the better”.
