Jeroen Rauwerdink, one of Cuneo’s newcomers, will be the last to join the group because of the qualifications for the World Championships. Before that, he took part in the European Championships for the Netherlands and was knocked out by Italy.
“We could have done better, especially in the group phase – he said – I am a bit disappointed with my level and the general level of the team. I will arrive in Cuneo only on the 8th of October but I don’t think I will have any problems to settle in the group. I heard from coach Piazza that the team is doing well, I can’t wait to join in. And I am ready to give everything I have”.
