De Cecco: “Satisfied with boys’ performances”

“The result did not matter for us – said athletic trainer De Cecco at the end of Verona’s first friendly game of the season, lost 3-1 against Padova – It’s obvious that, being our first game, I would have liked to win it, but I have seen some positive on court, like the excellent performance from Dante Boninfante, and the sharpness of Bellei and Anzani. Overall, all the boys have done rather well, and I was glad to see two young guys of our second team find space, they deserve it. In the next few weeks we will work to improve our level of play and help the players learn to deal with the game pressure”.
