A work in progress: this is what came out of the first couple of games between Vibo Valentia and Molfetta on Wednesday and Thursday. Still without their internationals, the two teams played enjoyable volleyball. Blengini’s boys seem to need to make ground in terms of reception and serve but thanks to their experienced players and the excellent performances of its youngsters (especially Randazzo), they managed to win both games on a 3-1 score.
“These were like two training sessions and therefore there were indications for the players to respect – explained assistant coach Antonio Valentini – Even if Molfetta were without a few players, they definitely have a good group”.
