Convincing straight set victory for Trento in its first outing of the season. The Italian champions had the better of the Austrian side of Innsbruck, which had only libero Shoj missing.
“We can be satisfied – said coach Serniotti – I liked the spirit with which we faced the game, considering that we were at the end of a really intense week of work. There’s still so much to do but it’s nice to play such a good game. We have been rather effective on the serve, especially the players who had to go for it”.
