The four-times world champions of Trento will defend their title between the 15th and 20th of October in Betin, in the south-east of Brazil. The other teams taking part will be the hosts of Sada Cruzeiro (runner-up last year), the Dominicans of La Romana, the Japanese of Panasonic panthers, Novosibirsk (Russia, European Champions), San Juan (Argentina, South-American champion), Kalan Mazandaran (Iran, Asian champion) and Sfax Tunisiense (Tunisia, African champion).
