Sport Director Pino De Patto went on a mission in Bologna’s Volley Market. He snatched two more spikers keeping in mind the project to build a young ‘made in italy’ team: Andrea Galaverna (94), who came up in Cuneo’s youth ranks and Matteo Ritacco (94). He also got outside hitter Yordan Galabinov to put pen to paper, as well as setter Andrea Surace and middle blocker Roberto Festi (94). Finally Matteo Bortolozzo’s contract was extended as he produced a superb end of season in 2012-13.
“Our coaches have quality, they will guarantee a good level of play – said sport director De Patto – They have the necessary characteristics to get the boys to give 100%, I am sure the ones that will wear our shirt this season will play with a lot of heart. I expect to see a lot of positive things during the season”.
