Itas Diatec Trentino: Itas Diatec Trentino tried to keep the dream alive and keep the play off adventure alive, without Cristian Savani but at the end of an excting match, Treviso wins 15-10 at the tiebreak.
Impressing crowd at the PalaVerde with 4154 paying people that gave unforgettable emotions to the whole Italy thanks to the live show on SKY Sport 2.
Trento starts with Della Lunga and Morsut spikers, Heller and Kooistra middleblokers, Meoni setter with Nascimento opposite and Trimarchi libero.
Sisley starts with Vermiglio setter, Fei opposite, Gustavo and Tencati middleblockers, Papi and Cipolla spikers, and Farina aslibero.
First Set: great start for Sisley able to force the serves and not make errors. 5-8 is the score after the first time out. The hosted team keeps its game and, at the second time out, the score reaches 10-16. The set is clearly in Trevisoì’s hands and Papi and teammates close it for 15-25
In the Second set, once again a great Treviso start thanks to Fei and Gustavo. After the first time out the score is like in the first set 5-8.
But Trento this time fights back especially with Kooistra serves and Della Lunga attacks. So the score is now 13-14. At this point Gustavo and Fei give an important break to their team and reach 14-18. The break will stay until the end of the set won again by Sisley 19-25.
Third set sees the proud reaction of Trento that flies immidiately to 6-3 and arrives and the first time out with the score of 8-4. The crowd is simply awesome and push the team that arrive at the second time out with the score 16-12. Trento keep playing very well and not let Sisley to get close to Meoni and teammates. Score goes from 22-18 to 23-20 until Itas Trentino close it in its favour for 25-21.
Fourth set is very tight at the beginning and with a lot of mistakes. Score is 7-8 for Sisley at the first time out. At this point Trento has a little black out with some mistakes and the score reaches 11-14. This break will keep going until the second time out (13-16). Treviso does not give signs of giving up and keeps playing well and arrives at 17-21. The set and the game seems in Treviso’s hands but Trento, once again, shows a great proud reaction. Dalla Lunga serves and Morsut attacks allows Trento to reach 21-22. The crowd keeps supporting the team and carries the boys: Morsut scores the 22-22 point and Fei mistake sends Trento ahead for the first time in the set. A great Millar block sends Trento ahead 24-22 and Morsut close the set 25-22. The PalaTrento explode of joy and enthusiasm.
The tiebreak starts very tight. But when the score is 2-3, Treviso scores the first important break with Cisolla and Gustavo attacks. Sisley is now ahead 2-5. At the first time out Treviso is 4-8 ahead. This time Treviso does not give up and even if Trento tries everything they can, the score is always clearly in Treviso favour: 7-11 and 9-12 and 10-13. Trento surrenders and Treviso close the match 10-15.
