Important addition to the squad for Piacenza: Coach Monti will have the talented youngster Pier Paolo Partenio at his disposal. Born in 1993 in Macerata, the setter came up in his home town and followed the footsteps of his father, Cesar, who played in A2 and A1 between 1987 and 1997. His sister Laura has also been playing in the A1 for the past three years.
“To be honest, I really did not expect a call from Piacenza – said Partenio – I can only be happy given the great things they have achieved in recent years. The club further strengthened the squad so I am sure we will be able to enjoy ourselves in the league and Champions League”.
