Everybody hoped for it and this came true: Tonio Tulliani will remain the Matera president “I wanted to take a break – he said – even if my passion for volleyball has never been altered. A lot of people have given me support, encouragement, they’ve been close to me, the fans stopped me in the street to ask me to stay. Then, Vito Gaudiano got rid of my last hesitations. Now I am working on the building process of the new team”.
And the first move was quickly made official with the announcement of Vincenzo Mastrangelo as head coach. Born in 1970 in Gioia del Colle, he gathered a lot of experience in the A1 and A2. Last year, he was Blengini’s assistant at Vibo Valentia.
