Itas Diatec Trentino: At the PalaPanini in Modena, Itas Diatec Trentino took the chance to make its history… meaning: the team reached for the first time the title semfinals. Trento did play with heart and determination. The team always believed they can make it. They came back from 2-1 and at the end, victory arrived at the tiebreak after 108 minutes of battle.
The players, at the end of the match, did celebrate with their amazing supporters, that follow the team for this very important quarter final.
Great performance for the whole team: Nascimento elected MVP with 19 points and 6 aces, Savani and his 20 points, Morsut, Kooistra, Heller, Millar. Meoni simply awesome in the setting and great performances also for libero Bari and for Dalla Lunga.
