Castellana Grotte signed promising youngster Manuel Marchiani. Born in 1989, the setter will be coscione’s back-up. He came up in Loreto before moving to Macerata. He also played for Molfetta and Club Italia, while he was back at Loreto last season. He won the challenge Cup in 2011 at Macerata and was part of the Italian national team juniors and pre-juniors.
