Some good news coming with the signing of experienced Slovakian international Milan Bencz. The new Atripalda outside hitter was last seen in the French league with Arago de Sete, finishing second of the regular season before losing at the playoffs quarter-final stage. He previously played for 2 years under the orders of coach Giani at Roma (473 points in two years) and before that he was in Austria at Salzburg (AICH-DOB).
“Things went rather well in France but the Italian league is something different, it’s a better league – said Bencz – My target was to come back in this welcoming country that gives me so much motivation. Hopefully we’ll have a great season, we’ll try to go as high as we possibly can”.
