Paolo Montagnani and Yu Koshikawa are loved by Padova fans and it was nice to see them sharing a moment of happiness together in Japan as they won the Kurowashiki, a tournament launched in 1952.
“The Kurowashiki is nothing like any other tournament – explained Montagnani – There are all the top teams of Japan of any level, high school, universities, the three best of the second division, and obviously all the 8 teams of the V-Premier League. This year in Japan required a huge effort from my part, a lot of determination and courage but that was really worth it to improve personally as a professional coach. I take the opportunity to say hello to the Padova fans, Yu and me we have followed all year long what was happening there”.
