Loreto is back in work after yet another defeat, at the hands of Sora 3-0. Loreto lead half way through the first set but lost its way once Ranghieri was injured. There are four games left and salvation is now 8 points away. Next is Città di Castello, league leaders, already promoted in the A1.
“We’ve been consistently unlucky this season – said Filippo Belcecchi – Sunday’s injury is just one episode that adds up to all the others. We were playing well but then came Ranghieri’s injury and we lost it. In the A2, you always have to maintain a certain level of play otherwise you end up losing”.
