The year 2012 ended with a road 3-0 loss against the Italian Champion of Macerata for San Giustino. Despite the defeat, the San Giustino had a decent game: it was tied at 23 in the first, stayed close until 16 in the second and was even ahead 22-20 in the third.
“We’re disappointed with the loss – said Andrea Sartoretti – We did not handle well some important moments of the game. We really wanted to finish 2012 with a positive result but we made a few mistakes too many especially in the first and third in which we had played at the same level of Macerata”.
