Looking back on the two first games of the season, it’s impossible not to find similarities. The group was not in its best shape physically and was up against two of the league contenders, Cuneo and Macerata, but twice it put up a good fight.
“We have improved again compared to the opening game against Cuneo and that’s a good sign for the future” said captain Casoli. “We might have wasted some opportunities but we have to remember that Macerata are the Italian champions – added Falaschi – they have stars who can make the difference at any time. We just have to accept the defeat and keep getting better”.
