In the World Club championships taking place in Doha, Qatar, Trento will face its last game of the first phase today. Two victories in as many games means the holders are already certain to be in the semi-final, but the encounter against the Brazilians of Cruzeiro will decide which team finishes top of the group.
“A meeting against such a different style than ours with Cruzeiro will definitely be interesting – said coach Stoytchev – It will be very tough, I have seen them yesterday against Al Rayan and I have to say that Trento will be up against one of the strongest teams it has ever faced in its history”.
The team is coached by Marcelo Mendez, whose main players in its roster are outside hitter Wallace, who substituted the injured Vissotto in the Olympic Games, setter Arjona and libero Serginho.
